Here are the recipes that I use for the cocktails in the Bond movies, posted as I watch the movies. Note that if the drink is just bourbon or scotch, I assume our Gentle Readers do not need a recipe.

Dr. No

Medium dry vodka martini

• 2 oz vodka
• 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
• Olive or Lemon Twist for garnish

Fill your shaker glass with ice, and pour the vodka and vermouth over the ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then strain the mix into a glass*, and garnish with the olive or lemon twist.

Note – I substitute dry vermouth with 2 shakes of orange bitters for the Lillet Blanc.

*Most use a martini glass, but in Dr. No the server poured it into a cocktail glass.
